Scientific Pathology (SP) is a pathological investigation centre where the process of achieving excellence is an unending process. This centre was founded by young Dr. Ashok Sharma – a great visionary who always wanted give best to his patients in the year 1987 . Till date even after a long journey the motive of giving BEST TO HIS PATIENTS has been the main guiding force in the development of SP. Today SP is the undoubtedly the largest centre for quality pathological investigations in western UP, Uttranchal Pradesh, Eastern part of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ashok Sharma, a post graduate in Pathology and Bacteriology from upgraded department of Pathology of  Sarojni Naidu Medical College, Agra. From the day one the best techniques were incorporated keeping in pace with the requirements of the patients and development in medical fraternity around the globe.

Ion Selective Electrode Technology for electrolytes and automation for Hematology was incorporated in very early stages in year 1987 . Constant up gradation with latest equipments and technologies were and are being continuously being added to provide best care to the patient at an affordable price.

Total collection is done through Vacutainer Systems to give best pre analytical care to the patient.

To provide most accurate and fast results to the patients fully automated systems such as Hitachi Systems - best known in the world for biochemistry analysis, Elecsys Systems for hormone analysis were incorporated way back in 1997. Latest in line being state of art Elecsys 2010. Daily controls are run on all the systems and no report would be generated till the controls are run.

To provide still further efficient patient service Axsym fully automated Hormone analyzer and Daytona – Biochemistry analyzer were added.

With time more latest systems were added such as fully automated Dry Chemistry Analyser - Vitros  250 and Semi Automated Dry Chemistry Analyser – DT 60

Hematology is done on fully automated five part SF 3000 and three part MS 9 systems. The slides are further screened by team of post graduate pathologists for most accurate results.

The latest is the development of fully automated Real Time PCR Laboratory to provide the pin point results in the cases where it is mandatory requirement such as Tuberculosis, HIV, HBsAg and many other deseases.

Scientific Pathology provides best of cytology and histopathology investigative results with photographs of the slide which is very helpful in taking second opinion in certain critical cases.

SP covers almost all branches of pathology needed for the well being of the patient such as Endocrinology, Genetics, Nutrition,, Metabolism, Oncology, Toxicology, Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Histopathology, Cytology, Immunopathology & Molecular Diagnostics (PCR).

It has always been our endeavor to provide all investigations  at SP only under strict vigil of our team of post graduate pathologists and well trained technical staff. Under very rare circumstances certain tests which can not be performed here are got done at very reputed centers of the country and abroad, more regularly with Corning Nichol’s Institute, USA. These services are provided at their original rates.

SP though always provides investigations at very affordable rates but still offers good discount to poor section of society. It also under takes awareness programmes for which investigation camps are done, educative seminar’s are done, and workshops are organized

All the departments of laboratory are equipped will state of art most modern equipments. To operate these sophisticated gadgets the technical staff is highly skilled. They also undergo periodical training for up gradation. To have better understanding of equipments and investigations the technical staff also attends seminars and also has to deliver small lectures in indoor seminars. Thus the staff is always well motivated to produce world class results in the best interest of the patient.

SP runs its own quality control programme under the close supervision of doctors. External Quality Control programme Vilac is also undertaken for Hematology, Biochemistry, Harmone Analysis & Bacteriology. We have mostly achieved A grade in this external quality control programme which gives us confidence about our reporting.

To bring SP advanced professional services at the door step of the patient 60 collections centers, 55 pick up points in our service area. Our para medical staff is well prepared and motivated to go to any distance to collect the sample in committed time and provide report in designated time. We are always giving the required reporting time to the patient and are strictly adhering to the same. Each report is treated with the status of individuality and full care.
 
Looking into our level of quality of work, we were long time back awarded ISO 9001-2000 certification. The process to get NABL awarded is on final stages and very soon we may come up with the same.

Many prestigious organization have associated with us again only due to our quality work. Mr. K.P.S Gill – IPS and former governor of Punjab and presently president of Indian Hockey Federation chose SP for the investigations required for his international Balram Project, Jay Pee Palace Hotels ,Hotel Holiday Inn, Income Tax Department  for the investigations of their employees on regular bases and Military Hospital for all the special investigations.
